Flash Trading... Is it a scam?

Okay, So this post is about Flash Trading.
What is flash trading, You may ask?
It is when you offer a rare item really fast for somebody else's item, it could be rare or even a store item. This is flash trading.
I've actually been scammed by flash trading, back when it was less common. A scammer offered member bat wings for my spiked collar back in 2012 and I couldn't see the member lock, so I accepted. This was before there was a pause on the accept and decline buttons, so I didn't need to wait to accept.
Flash Trading is against the Animal Jam Rules, and it is pretty much gambling.
The objective is to cancel or accept first, and you keep the items afterwords.
Flash Trading is SCAMMING.
The 'inventor' of fast-flash is Julian2, and he got SUSPENDED for it.
Animal Jam doesn't even let you say Flash Trading anymore! You will get a pause saying 'Scamming'.
So, Remember. Don't do flash trading, as it is a scam and many people loose their items from it.

  1. Ya, I agree that it is a huge scam although I did it when it was first "invented" because I didn't know it was a scam.

  4. I know right? TOTAL SCAM! I once went to this flash trading party, not knowing what it was, and instead of losing my items, I got a really good trade. So, I was dressing up in my D.J. headset and designer skirt, when a trade popped up, and I didn't mean to hit accept, but the place where it says accept was where I licked to put on my headset. I got a BOW, yes, a BOW for a little princess necklace. So haha to the person fooling around! Flash trading? Just say NO! LOL!

    1. My guess is it was originally ment as a joke, but some Scammers decided they could find a way to scam it. Animal Jam is trying their best to stop it.

  14. flashing is NOT scamming! all you do is put bad stuff on trade and people trade you good stuff and you try to accept and they cancel

    1. Yes, it actually is. People have been using flashing as a way to scam. They will accept quickly and run off with your items. I know this, I've been scammed by Flash Trading before.
Animal Jam doesn't even let you say flash trading. Its a scam.

  15. Dude, Julian2 made this and in one of his videos he claimed he was innocent. That's a lie, sure there was trade backs, but still AJHQ still counts it as scamming. Many scammers got the idea of taking people's items with Flash Trading. So, Julian2 pretty much gave away a new way to scam. There's something you Julian2 fans can read about your little "King"

  16. Hey Julian2! AND YOU HYPNOTIZED-WITH-THE-SCAM-CALLED-FLASH-TRADING FANS!
    AJHQ will BAN YOU!!!
    Even of your promises like:
Oh {JamJamNJamondude6} lets {flashie, flsh, fish, flush, etc} you trade me, {SillyPupzFunnyKittenz} your {insert BIG rare or beta, like a blue mat} for my {measly store item like a Cool Banner or a Cheapie-O Necklace} don't worry we'll trade back!
    And you don't, 'fans'!
So later, JamJamJamNJamonDude6, the one being scammed is scammed on their blue mat by SillyPupzFunnyKittenz, the 'scam-hypnotized-fan' runs away scamming, risking being banned and needing to learn their lesson- DO NOT FLASH TRADE!
So Julian2, your lesson will be learned by your scam.
